Reply from M. Charo indicates that list data sent on 2001.02.01 were niether update or replacement files. They were data to accompany the cruise documentation file, only. These data files reside in the original subdirectory along with accompanying email: "Attached please find the following AR8 list data (*.zip file) : LSTDATA.ZIP contains the *.doc files: the list ctd data to standard pressure levels of BD0491, EH0492 and EA0192 cruises (bd491lst, eh492lst and ea192lst) and the list xbt data of EH0492 cruise (xbtlst)." - M. Charo
We have received list ctd data at standard depth in files for the three cruises listed above. The files contain several parameters beyond the WOCE CTD parameters as well as duplicate bottle data. Files also have no header description and some header parameter and units in spanish. Therefore, I have placed all files in appropriate original directories and emailed Marcela Charo for further instructions on how to handle these data.
I have put the AR08 lines on whpo in /usr/export/ftp/pub/ WHPO/S_ANDERSON/AR08. I called the files xxxx.dqe so I would know which files were the ones I had put the QUALT2 flags from both DQE's in. The .sum files have been reformatted to conform with the WHP format. Please see the README file for details of the original problems. DMB
