For some time now we have been trying to clean up the last of the repeat cruises and incorporating current meter cruise data has fallen into this category. We were forwarded CTD data and two e-mail correspondences by Jim Crease for the KN04 cruise.
I am working on formatting these CTD files into a WOCE CTD format and a summary file. I am having some difficulties with the inconsistant lat/lon values recorded in the files. The values in the files that we obtained are are of differing precision and in some cases exceed any possible lat/lon value.
Can you please help? We have no cruise or data documentation for these files and presently do not even know who the Chief Scientist was on cruise! Could you please forward a data contact with whom I might correspond to regarding these matters? We would like to button this up as soon as possible and any information you could give us would be greatly appreciated.
Tracers were released to the public, however only cfc data was unencrypted. I have unencrypted entire bottle file, regenerated exchange/netcdf/inventory files and updated the index pages to indicate that the entire bottle file is public.
CTD has been converted to exchange using the new code and put online.

I have replaced the current online bottle file with the newly merged file created by D. Muus. The new file has final CFCs merged, as well as all non-public tracer data, pending word from Matthias Arnold (other tracers are he, tr, c14). All references have been updated to reflect this change.

File contains Station and Bottle Numbers but no Cast or Sample Numbers. Pressures are slightly different from ar04_ahy pressures. No samples have same Station and Bottle number for different casts.
a) Rearranged to WOCE format for use with mrgsea program
b) Added CASTNO "1" to all stations except 647, 658, 660 & 664.
c) Added CASTNO "2" to stations 647, 658, 660 & 664.
A Non-Public file was created using the original data plus F11 and F12 and should be put on the web encrypted.
A Public file was created by removing Helium, Tritium and C14 from the new file and can be put on the web in plain text.
The Me-14 CFC data as well as the Me 16, Me22, and Me27 CFC data are public and I have already stated this years ago (I think in 1996).
