The ar12_i (64PE122) bottle file has been placed back online. Exchange and netcdf files have been generated also. All previous versions of files have been renamed and moved to the original directory. From Steve: van Aken submitted a new bottle file for this line thinking that we didn't have it online. As luck would have it, we didn't have an *Exchange* file online, as the original bottle file had a mismatch with the number of flags and flagged parameters. I put the new file (which doesn't have this problem) in the 'original' directory for this cruise, checked it again, converted it to exchange without a problem and checked it with JOA. Waiting for approval from Danie to put new bottle files on the website and close out this longstanding problem. From Danie: I have looked over my notes and have no compelling reasons why not to place the newly submitted and generated files online. I have created netcdf files from the exchange bottle file and have placed all files online (moving previous versions to the original directory after renaming them).
Bottle data, which appear to be missing in CCHDO data base for cruise 64PE122.
Pull BOT exchg until Flag problem resolved. Email Van Aken for new file or correction. WOCE format CTD.
Exchange bottle file has been pulled from website as a result of WOCE formatted bottle file containing an unresolved QUALT1 flag problem. Currently there are too many flags for the number of asterisked columns in the WOCE bottle file. It is unclear which flag is incorrect. PI will need to be contacted. There was no way of telling if correct flags were selected for exchange creation, therefore it was pulled from website until further notice.
CTD has been converted to exchange format using the new exchange code. New files are now online and old ones have been moved to original directory.
Bottle file has been converted to exchange format and put online. Preceding zeroes from station and cast numbers were removed from the sumfile in order to match the format from bottle and ctd files.
2000.12.11 KJU File contained here is a CRUISE SUMMARY and NOT sumfile. Documentation is online. 2000.10.11 KJU Files were found in incoming directory under whp_reports. This directory was zipped, files were separated and placed under proper cruise. All of them are sum files. Received 1997 August 15th.
Thanks for your message regarding the 64PE122 data. As far as I am aware, I have indicated in the past that these data should be made public according to the WHP rules. That is two years after the cruise. And as final data only ofter the DQE process. As I understand now, DQE is not considered anymore as essential for the repeat hydrography. Since it is nearly 2 years after I collected the data, I consider it right to make these data public/unencripted.
I have just finished my FTP data submission to your site. It regards data from the 1998 survey of repeat area AR12, EXPOCODE 64PE122.
