Bottle file data was reformatted. Tabs were contained in the header that were causing errors in the exchange bottle file. Headers are now fixed and bottle file exchange was re-run.
Correction were made on the sumfile, latitude was missing directions (S-N). after talking to Danie, the correct directions were determined and added to the sum file.
Changes made on column headers are:
1- WOCE WOCE to WOCE SECT
2- CAST to CAST CAST TYPE
3- CODE to EVENT CODE
Spaces between the folowing columns were removed
1- WOCE SECT
2- STNNBR
3- EVENT CODE
Jpg, Gif and *na.txt files were created for this directory. Images were linked to index.htm page. SUMCHK was run on this file and no errors were reported.
Latitudes of the cruise missed directions(ex: S or N). The correct positioning was determined and the values inputed into the SUM file. Also some extra correction were made naming used to represent column headers.
Exchange code was run on bottle file and csv file was created. Website contains a link to the file in exchange format.
Added this to the webpage. Made it public. All data is raw, unformatted, and has errors.
I hereby indicate that you can openly distribute data from the following cruises, and include them in the WOCE CDROM dataset without restriction.
