I have edited the summary and ctd files (ctd only present for leg 3) for these cruises to indicate that they belong to line ar10. Previously files listed ar11, however these data were submitted with other ar10s from whoi in 1999. There is no documentation accompanying these files and it is difficult to place them in one or the other as the cruise tracks often overlap for these two lines. I hae edited them to be ar10s to be consistant with the whoi submission. It should be noted that the ctd files for leg 3 do have any depth associated with them (no depth in summary file). When csv and netcdf files were created, depth placed in the files was 0 (zero). It is unclear at this point if this is correct or if the depth field should be left blank. Currently the files are up (encrypted due to non-public status) however they may need correcting.
Contact Oakey for PUB status. unencrypt CTD to make exchg then re-encrypt.
Changed "/" in expocode to underscore"_". Removed leading space infront of first column in all header lines and data. (this was making sumfile.pl choke and was not woce format). Edited out "-"negative signs from the sumfile and reran thru sumchk with no errors. new file is called oc254_3_edt.sum. Also added time/date stamp. This file was moved up to the parent directory and renamed ar10_bsu.txt. Reran wctcvt, but it still produces errors on all stations. These ctd fileswill need to be reformatted and should be sent to Sarilee Anderson. The zip file containing all stations oc254_3ct.zip was moved up to the parentdirectory and renamed ar10_bct.zip and was then encrypted until further word from the PI.
