Regarding the outstanding AR7W datasets, these will remain outstanding in terms of the final WOCE CDs. We will not be able to deliver for the final CDs. The work on this dataset continues. The PI (Ross Henry) is hopeful of getting the processing completed this calendar year. However, other issues may impact getting the data to you.
please note that Isenor is leaving and the new data contact will be Jeff Jackson.
As per WOCE DPC and reconciliation meeting 2000, the A20 portion of this cruise has been changed to AR22, as A20 has already been completed under the onetime atlantic WOCE cruises. This woce section id was edited in the sumfile, as was the column widths and headers to reflect the woce format. UNBDP was changed to UNC/DEPTH HAB was changed to HT ABOVE/BOTTOM MAXP was changed to MAX/PRESS NB was changed to NO. OF/BOTTLES PAR was changed to PARAMETERS Expocode slash was changed to anunderscore. Name/date stamp was added. On line sumfile was replaced, and index.htm file updated with the new line number designation, and this action was entered into the revision control system.
I've run the new AR07/AR05 sumfile thru the usual checks and the file is in good WOCE format. I've split the sumfile, created directories for the separated lines, replied to Isenor that all was recieved ok, and updated all the table information. As per Anthony, there is no immediate date for the submission of bottle and ctd files yet (apologetically). We should hear from him when the data is ready.
1999.09.10 new updated sumfile for ar05/ar07 was sent by Anthony Isenor. The sumfile containing the lines ar05 and ar07 was split 1999.09.10 by DMB. In addition to splitting the file: ar05 91007: the 18HU91007/1 was changed to 18HU91007_1 the line A04 was changed to AR20 as per Jim Swift the line A20 was changed to AR22 as per Jim Swift ar07 91015: the 18HU91015/1 was changed to 18HU91015_1 the line AR7/W was changed to AR7W Both files run through sumchk with no errors. These lines will be put out on the WHPO repeat tables as individual cruises/lines.
The 91007/015 cruise(s) should be considered two separate numbers, with two SUM files. The two numbers now have a history, both within the BIO system and the international system. I think it would be advisable to continue with the existing two numbers. Your suggested break point along the AR7W (91015) and AR5 (91007) lines is an appropriate solution. Yes, you can consider me your first point of contact for BIO related cruises.
