Bottle file has been converted into exchange format and put online.
I have reformatted the sumfile, bottle file and began reformatting of the CTDfiles for this PR06 cruise. Values for TCARBN, ALKALI, DELC13, and O18/O16 are missing values. Sum and bottle file pass diagnostic programs minor bottle errors. CTD files contain station and cast numbers that do not correspond to the sum file and will need to be resolved with the Data originator (Whitney). Files were put online, encrypted until further word from PI. Unformatted doc file has been made from word doc.
Following changes were made to files:
BOTTLE: Created text file from excel spreadsheet.
Aligned columns according to WOCE format.
Changed expocode from 18DD9618/1 to 18DD9618_1
Edited stations numbers SU2 through SU8 to correspond to two digit nomenclature of sumfile. (I.E. SU2 changed to SU02, etc.)
Edited original missing values of -9.0 to correspond with correct precision for each parameter. (i.e. -9.0 to
-9.00 for O18/O16 missing values, etc.)
Edited original missing value of -9.0 to -999.0 for DelC13.
Ran wocecvt with following errors:

Edited all dates to contain two digit fields for mmddyy. Month was missing leading zero.
Edited incorrect year in date for station P25. Year was 95, should be 96.
Ran sumchk with no errors produced.
Added name/date stamp.
CTD: Removed hard carriage returns.
Changed expocode from 18DD9618/1 to 18DD9618_1 certain station files had asterisks for SAMPLING RATE. This was edited to blank space to pass wctcvt.
Ran wctcvt. Not all CTD station numbers match station numbers in the sumfile. Cast numbers in CTD files have been numbered sequentially for CTD casts and do not match any cast numbers in sumfile.
PI will need to be contacted for course of action for CTD files
Sent all data files to Sarilee Anderson for reformatting. Created data directory and index page for this criuse.
For all Line PR05 and PR06 surveys done for WOCE, I am the only contact regarding making data public. This applies to both CTD and bottle data. As I confirmed by fax last week, IOS consents to making public, all data we have submitted to WOCE so far.
