* Changed OSNUM to SAMPNO_U, in most CCHDO datafiles the OSNUM was related to oceansites and mapped to a generic EVENT_NUMBER which is supposed to be consistent per profile. This OSNUM is related to the 14C measurements. I could find no information in the cruise report about what it might mean. Since it appeared to be a sample number, I decided to change it to SAMPNO_U to retain the information

This file was copied from project CARINA. No changes, except that the parameters were reordered.

Notes: This file contains corrected Alkalinity data. You already have this cruise in two places; woce and CARINA. This is the cruise that was originally named P12 and subsequently changed to a SR03 repeat. Alk calibrations supplied by Bronte.
9/20/99 Got file from Chris that Bronte originated with carbon values,
details on measurements, duplicates, etc. I averaged dups and imported
12/16/99 Got revised data via same path. Made correction for HgCl2
addition as instructed in message
12/21/99 Got copy of vanilla data from CCHDO
Data were included in GLODAP because we had a big hole in the data
set, but they were not subjected to 2nd QC (from notes and confirmed
by blank entries in adjustment table at CDIAC)
12/23/04 Got C14 data from Kathy Elder. These were run under the
"extra analysis $" I got from NSF.
1/4/05 Submitted C14 values to CCHDO
12/23/07 Sent Bronte a copy of full file
File was included in CARINA because of C14 addition and to allow 2nd
QC. Apparently, I have not received an update since 99, so these are
the data that were used for CARINA and the data on which the -13.7 ALK
adjustment was derived.
CCHDO files (except for the listing under CARINA) do NOT contain the
carbon data nor have the C14 been merged. The CARINA version of this
file includes both.
