This bottle file was part of the CARINA collection compiled by Bob Key.
I was not aware that those Meteor data from 1997 were still restricted. They should be open, since all the preliminary stuff has been published since some time. I copy this to Lothar Stramma who has been taking care of those hydrographic data and their transfers. I am sure you will hear back shortly from him on that matter.
Old pdf file could only be read by Macintosh computers. New pdf file that fixes this has been placed online.
Old TXT documentation for this cruise was replaced and PDF was added. Both are now online.
I have added AR12 to the WOCE SECTION ID #s for this cruise (formerly just AR07W, and AR05). Only unformatted summary and bottle file are currently submitted, these will incorporate all lines when reformatted. Index page has been edited to reflect this change.
Below is a list of other Atlantic repeat lines that are likely to be continued past WOCE. By the way, John Gould - Penny Holiday, too, I imagine - can get the WHPO a global list of these lines. They prepared the list for the 1999 St. Raphael conference, I think. 75°N Norway G-I-UK gap Nordic countries AR7W Canada AR7E Germany/Netherlands UK-Rockall-Iceland UK 48°N Germany 36°N and 24°N once or twice in next 10 years by UK 7.5°N Germany & France 20°W UK, once or twice in next 10 years Cape Farwell-Spain every 1-2 years by France 52°W & 65°W USA Some specific cruises, do we have them?
