Bottle data had been converted from an xls format to txt and the data contained a great number of errors do to that format change. Original file was converted to woce format. Data was then converted to exchange, netcdf and inventory.

Sumfile was converted to WOCE format. CTD was converted to exchange, NETCDF and inventory files were created. CTD casts were increasing and did not match the Sum or Bottle files. The cast changes that were used for the conversion are listed in the 00_README.

SUM and bottle data were in excel documents and therefor not put online. These files were converted to regular text files and have now been linked to the website. Index file was modified. Previous RCS for this cruise indicated bottle data was public so the files were made public online. The SUM file contains errors that did not allow for the completion of the station plot.

CTD data is unencrypted and public. Bottle and summary files are excel spreadsheets and therefore not linked. Investigators will need to contact WHPO until these data are reformatted.

All the data that IOS has submitted either for PR05 & PR06, or for P1W and P15N can be made available to the public. Most of these data are already archived at MEDS and published. An appendix to the Deep-Sea Res II volume (46) for Canadian JGOFS contains the PR06 T/S, nuts and oxygen data for the upper 1000 m for the 1995-97 period. It has always been our plan that data would be available within two years of collection.
