Sarilee submitted the most recent version of the formatted bottle file. This new file was used to re-make the exchange format, where the change from USW to ROS had to be made. New files are online. Old files were replaced and moved to original directory. On bottle file stations P41, P32, P49 and P33 required an M, modifications were made. For the purpose of converting the bottle to exchange format all USW casts were replaced with ROS. Exhange format now online.

Files had the wrong cast number. Appeared to be a sequential number throughout the files, ie station 93090001.WOC (now pr05b0001.wct) was cast number 1 and 93090060.WOC (now pr05b0060.wct) was cast number 60. Using the station number, date, and depth in the .sum file, I determined the cast number and made the changes. Stations 93090027.WOC, 93090030.WOC, and 93090032.WOC (now pr05b0027.wct, pr05b0030.wct, and pr05b0032.wct) had the wrong station designation. They all had MP26 as their station no. According to the .sum file they should have been PRS1, I changed them. Using the date and depth I determined which cast to use. All stations had PR06 as the WOCE SECT, but according to the .sum file starting with pr05b0020.wct the WOCE SECT should have been PR05, I changed this accordingly. Added time stamp. Ran over wctcvt - files ok

2000.11.27 KJU File contained here is a CRUISE SUMMARY and NOT sumfile. Documentation is online. 2000.10.11 KJU Files were found in incoming directory under whp_reports. This directory was zipped, files were separated and placed under proper cruise. All of them are sum files. Received 1997 August 15th.

All the data that IOS has submitted either for PR05 & PR06, or for P1W and P15N can be made available to the public. Most of these data are already archived at MEDS and published. an appendix to the Deep-Sea Res II volume (46) for Canadian JGOFS contains the PR06 T/S, nuts and oxygen data for the upper 1000 m for the 1995-97 period. It has always been our plan that data would be available within two years of collection.
