For Discovery 165a I took all the information from the rtp cruise report which included station numbers and down times (BO). I recommend that whpo replace the files they had with the new ones.

With regard to the data submission, I have a question I'm hoping you can solve quickly. We already have a data set (sum, ctd) for this cruise which does not agree in station number with the newly submitted sum and ctd files. It appears that the cast code in the previous sumfile are all beginnings (BE) and in the recently sent sumfile they are all bottoms (BO). Times are different between the files as well, however the lat/lon positions are identical. Likewise for the CTD station files (there are files of the same date, but station numbers differ). My question is: Are these files to be combined, or should the recent submission supersede the old files? Can you please advise on a course of action to be taken on the two data sets?

SAUNDERS, PETER would like the data NON-PUBLIC. PLEASE NOTE This cruise is incorrectly located as AR09! It is a pre WOCE cruise in the Indian Ocean in area ISS01. Raymond Pollard was the PI for hydrographic data and will send his permissions to make these files public within days.
