35MF71JADE_1:
Edited EXPOCODE from 35MF19920217 to 35MF71JADE_1
Edited Units:  DEGC to DEG C, DBARS to DBAR
Added Units:  METERS for DEPTH parameter column
Added parameter TIME and filled column with time 2400
         in order that the netcdf script will convert
         the exchange bottle file into netcdf files.
         once this parameter was added the files converted with
         no apparent problems.

Format checked in JOA, no apparent errors.

Created WOCE-formatted bottle file.  No errors detected.

Attached please find the latest version of the bottle data file from this cruise. The file now contains station dates. Adding these dates was difficult because the web site that had the dates + locations + partial data did not record station numbers. Two new stations have been added which we gave numbers 37 & 39. The data were sorted by station number, so some of the dates are "out of order". The only header line in the data file has my internal parameter names, but I think you will recognize everything. Units are WOCE standard.

I assigned all the flag values. There is one more He3 value (44-4440-2) I normally would have flagged 3, but didn't due to the region. This data set has been particularly difficult to reassemble so clerical errors are a real possibility.

As always, if you disagree with any of my flags, find other errors or have additions for the data or metadata file please let me know.

Credit for rescuing the dates and other new information to Xiaohua Lin who is now helping me on data assembly, records, etc.

Other than knowing that it occurred, I still have no data/information/etc. for the 3rd JADE cruise which was, I think, called TIP2000 or something similar.

I know of no "synthesis" activity for the Indian Ocean, so for now these data will just be posted at CCHDO and will be used for Lynne's atlas work.

Here are the 2 files for 1992. Other than the flags, you may already have all this. More data may be available via the web site listed at the end of the README, but we just can't devote any more time to these now.

I just find in my old papers that the sheet on the IR06 Repeat Cruises data have mistakes. If it is not too late, I join here the corrections as an attached word document, as I dont know how to change the original sheet.
