These data were published as auxiliary material with the pub. included in the zip file. The scientists involved (van Geen, Smethie, etc.) called this cruise OXMZ01MV which is presumably short for OXygen Minimum Zone: MelVille (perhaps the 01 is leg?). The original data is file 2005jc003192-ts01.txt. I provided all of the flags and converted the longitudes to standard (negative for west). File README.MV199910.txt is my standard format. Other metadata is in the pub and their text file (in the zip). All units are WOCE standard. There are a few additional samples which, perhaps, should have been flagged 3 (mistrips?). This data set is dissimilar to most of your holdings because all sampling is close to shore, but I thought it worth adding because they captured the eastern extent of the oxygen minimum zone off Mex. and CA. Overall data quality is good. CTD records were not available with the publication, but Smethie or van Geen may be able to provide (both at LDEO). I e-mailed Smethie to see if any other measurements were made, but haven't yet heard back from him.
