I have replaced current online bottle and sum files with the newly reformatted files, completed by D. Muus. Bottle file now has all current data and quality bytes contained within it. 1) Summary file has apparent error in Station 49 End (EN) Longitude. Believe should be 53 52.19 W instead of 56 52.19 W to match Beginning (BE)and Bottom (BO) Longitudes. Ship did not drift over 100 miles in 42 minutes.
2) Oxygen data successfully merged with web bottle file.
3) wocecvt successfully run but had numerous "sumun1: parameter list truncated." messages and 10 "sumun1: comment truncated." messages. Rearranged Summary file headers to conform to WOCE left and right justify requirements and the 'parameter' messages disappeared but the 'comment' messages remain.

I have merged the bottle Q2 words from two versions of bottle files (sent to us by WHOI) into one bottle file. I have also pressure sorted and edited minor other details to the bottle file data. I have edited and rezipped the CTD station files to now conform to WHP format. Both files have been updated and encrypted on the website. All notes are located in the 00_README file in the original subdirectory.
***I have also removed the AR14 entry for this cruise from the index page as per the DIU (only one station covered). Please edit on the table database.

Files were found in incoming directory under whp_reports. This directory was zipped, files were separated and placed under proper cruise. All of them are sum files.
Received 1997 August 15th.
Expocode 18HU94008 for lines: AR07W, AR13 and AR14, 'RAW' status on tables for nuts and cfc data have been removed.
18HU94008_1: The files we have from WHOI has *ONLY* salinity, no oxygens. Again CFC's as well as nutrients were tagged with "raw" because they need editing to include leading zeros.
PROBLEM: There is currently no bottle file available, because the WHOI WHP office sent four versions of the bottle file, some of which were DQE'd for different parameters. At the moment we do not have the time resources to recreate what has happened to the data files to sort out which is the most current.
as mentioned in my recent message, we will release our data with a flag that indicates that they are not yet final. We started the process of transferring the data and we will continue with the transfer during the next weeks. I had listed the expected order of delivery in my last message.
